What is this?

It’s a glorified spreadsheet slapped onto to a Notion site!

• Gallery to collect beautifully designed care products
• I also want to do some deep dives on some of the designs and companies. I used to write a sporadic newsletter on culture & design, and am hoping to channel that curiosity here.

Why?

I’d love to see an online store that aggregates well-designed products, educates caretakers and self-carers, and see more existing (like Hilfiger Adaptive) and new product lines (like Boom) design for people with different needs.

I’m really inspired by companies like ez66.com.tw (from Taiwan) and Carewell for their care-focused online stores (with a home medical focus), and companies like Boom, Liftware, Care+Wear for their product designs.

The name

In part because “list of care products” is a mouthful when talking to myself, I decided to name this project. I love the multiple meanings behind sage:

• The sage plant, which is used for culinary, and spiritual cleansing purposes, among many others.
• To be full of profound wisdom.
• Age, with an S in front. Ages, scrambled.
